Green X and E-FLOW Begin Collaboration on the “G-Connect” Platform

Green X Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hiroyuki Owada; hereinafter “Green X”), which operates the renewable energy platform “G-Connect,” and E-Flow LLC of the Kansai Electric Power Group (Head Office: Chuo-Ku, Osaka; President: Kawaguchi; hereinafter “E-Flow”), which provides distributed energy resource aggregation services, have signed a basic agreement designating E-Flow as a partner aggregator on the “G-Connect” platform with the aim of expanding the use of renewable energy.

Overview and Purpose of the Partnership:
The renewable energy platform “G-Connect,” operated by Green X, matches renewable energy producers across Japan with off-takers and other energy users, providing services that support the conclusion of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and is available in both Japanese and English.

E-Flow operates an aggregation business that centrally controls distributed energy resources, including renewable energy. Through this partnership, E-Flow will provide aggregation services such as imbalance risk hedging and market transaction support to the producers and off-takers matched on the “G-Connect” platform.

By combining these capabilities, the partnership will enhance the stability of renewable energy supply through PPAs and contribute to optimizing corporate renewable energy procurement costs.

Both companies will accelerate the establishment of a new transaction model in Japan’s renewable energy market and support corporate decarbonization efforts through these initiatives.
